This new show “Cinema en Salsa” arrives to take us on a journey through iconic films that are reinvented to the rhythm of salsa, with the stamp of glamor, art and celebration representative of the show that has been making the world dance for eleven seasons.

The show has always been characterized by its fusions, this new staging is an innovative challenge to merge the seventh art with salsa caleña: immaterial cultural heritage of the nation.

Parts of the show

This show is divided in 3 parts:

Caribe

Full of the joy and rhythm of the Caribbean, nurtured with bolero, chachacha, mambo, son Cubano and modern dances like champeta and bachata. Highlights of this part: the majesty of the costumes and headdresses in the style of the great Cuban cabarets.

Fusiones Cinema en Salsa

The second act, which marks the name of the Cinema en Salsa season, takes a journey through films that have marked the history of cinema in recent decades, with musicals like Mamma Mia, action movies like Mission Impossible, James Bond, romantic movies like Titanic, action movies like Star Wars, among others, all fusioned with salsa.

Salsa Caleña

Ins this part of the show you’ll experience the dizzying foot and hip movements, and acrobatics typical of the salsa Caleña, and a tribute to one of the greatest performers of salsa music: El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.
